As an idea pop-up in my mind, I'm going to write some random thoughts... |
I think hardships teach someone to be a creative & determined person.
I was thinking of this after I got inspired by Michelle Phan's story.
She's gone through a lot of hardships in life.... And to overcome it, she did a lot of new things.
Well, unexpected things do happen in life.
Muslims do believe in qada' and qadar (fate).
But my lecturer said, never say 'Good luck', as your life is not all about luck. It's all about fate. Hmmm...
Oh, talking about being creative, another lecturer of mine suggested a video by Vinay Venkatraman, entitled "Technology crafts": for the digitally undeserved. He did made a research in Mumbai, and met a guy named Sathi Shri. He owned a ten-feet shop, and is able to fix almost any technological devices that you have! Can you just imagine on how non-academic people can produce a lot of technological devices (whether fixing or making a new one) without being exposed to the fact of the technology itself? I think it's all about exposure, self-discovery, creativity, and bravery in trying out something new. Here's some descriptions on what the video is all about... (in case that the internet connection is too slow, or that you are lazy enough to open another tab :p )
*It feels weird when you buy the 'Mexican bread with coffee-flavour', but you don't even find any word of 'coffee' in the ingredients... As I said earlier, it is just a random thought. You may ignore me... -,-' *
